What would happen without freight hauling?

Choosing the right truck - 1

You can't imagine the planet without freight hauling! What would happen without it?

Healthcare, education, politics - we always say that people who are working in these areas are with the most important jobs. And of course - police officers, firefighters and the military. However, the truth is that nowadays without deliveries most of the sectors will collapse. And this is especially valid for healthcare. Next time someone asks you for the most important job, take a minute to think about it.

To make it clearer, we will imagine what exactly would happen, if freight hauling suddenly disappeared (or if all the drivers around the world decided to stop doing their job).

DAY 1

The biggest problem - hospitals and health centers would run out of basic. Medications, which have shorter life spans (of just hours), would expire - massive financial losses.

Oil. Immediately, gas stations will begin to diminish their amount of fuel. There will be inconceivable lines in front of the stations and gas prices will up to the sky.

Mail deliveries would completely shut down. Even food shortages could start to develop (at some cities). All these factors would cause a massive panic among the people.

WEEK 1

Food shortages would escalate dramatically only for a few days. Essentials like bottled water, bread, milk, and vegetables would disappear.

Of course, ATM's would run out of cash and the banks would be unable to process normal transactions. It would be almost impossible to fill up gas tanks after dramatic decreasing levels and high prices. And service stations would completely run out of fuel for cars. All forms of transportation would no longer function - people would not be able to travel anywhere.

Garbage would begin to pile up in urban areas. This would cause many health and environmental threats. Many people would be vulnerable to infectious diseases, released by medical waste and hazardous material.

MONTH 1

The clean water supply would be exhausted, and water would only be safe for consumption after boiling. The lack of clean water would bring several gastrointestinal illnesses, which would make the situation even more complicated for the healthcare system. Moreover, lifesaving supplies for hospitals would run out.

No money, no food, no water, no gas, no different way of moving, except by foot. Of course, we spoke about only the essentials. The world would be completely different only in a few weeks. Completely!

So... next time to the question "What is the most important profession" we would think twice, because the most important jobs are strongly dependent on one.
